Data processing agreement

A data processing agreement is part of your terms from the moment you sign up. Request the current version at privacy@matterkey.com.

What the agreement covers

Every Matterkey engagement includes a data processing agreement under UK GDPR as part of your terms from sign-up. It names the managing agent as controller and Matterkey Ltd as processor, sets out the processing purposes, and binds us to the commitments we make publicly:

• Your documents and data are never used to train AI models.
• Source documents and all processing copies are deleted once you accept your export, in line with the retention policy in the agreement.
• The verified record stays available for as long as you have live properties with us, and is deleted when you offboard or earlier on request.
• Documents and extracted data are stored in the UK and EU, encrypted at rest and in transit.
• Sub-processors are listed in the agreement and changes are notified in advance.

Requesting a copy

Write to privacy@matterkey.com and we will send the current version for your review, along with our retention schedule and sub-processor list. We are happy to work through it with your data protection lead before any pilot begins.
